The Fourth of July was declared a federal holiday in 1941. Ever since, Americans celebrate it with Fireworks, a lot of Hot dogs and BBQ.
The celebration is for the memory of the nation’s birthday on July 4, 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was signed by 56 of America founding fathers.
I watched a movie about it and the birth of the national Anthem. It is a whole different than the celebration, it is a story that touches the heart about Love to the country, loyalty, sacrifice and real Patriots.
It is always good to show your children such movies and after all;
Enjoy the day
